“With WATTSON, we can reduce energy waste across campuses by 5-10%, saving millions in budget that can be redirected towards research, scholarships, and other impactful initiatives.”
Problem
Wasting energy due to misalignment between utilities operations and actual occupancy across commercial campuses. Manually extracting utility rates from complex documents is time-intensive for building managers.
Technical Solution
WATTSON is a web application that optimizes utility usage by aligning HVAC schedules with actual class schedules, providing real-time monitoring of energy savings. It also automates the extraction of utility rates from complex documents using AWS machine learning models, saving significant time for building managers.
