Team: T.A.C.O.
(Tracking And Compliance Operations)

T.A.C.O. streamlines Cal Poly SLO audits with a two-sided web app: auditors request documents; auditees upload files to an AI portal that summarizes and checks compliance using Textract and Bedrock—cutting months of delays and endless email threads.

Team: Ducklings

From opaque to obvious: Duckling reveals where spending stands, recommends diverse suppliers, and gives staff a clear path to 25%—so small businesses get opportunities and campuses get compliance without the spreadsheet chase.

Team: Humboldt Helpers

Humboldt Helper reduces frustration and boosts productivity with a chatbot that finds federal, state, and university information fast—moving staff from the red zone to the green while shrinking support backlogs and repeated clicks.

Team: Bureau Bots

CSU policies shouldn’t feel like a maze. Bureau Bots’ ChatBot AI sorts, chunks, and semantically searches official documents—so you can filter by department or campus and get clear guidance in seconds, not weeks.

Team: Can't Stop Won't Drop

SDSU loses big when students leave on-campus housing. Can’t Stop Won’t Drop delivers a predictive dashboard and admin input portal that explains who’s at risk and why—turning scattered data into timely outreach and smarter retention decisions.

Team: CSU Safe

CSU Safe fixes one-size-fits-all safety training. The platform analyzes course activities and hazards, auto-recommends relevant EHS modules, and tracks what’s needed—helping campuses move beyond checkbox compliance to real protection for labs, workshops, and fieldwork.

Team: UR Future Track

T.A.C.O. replaces scattered edits and no-shows with a single management system: internal dashboards for auditors, an AI upload portal for auditees, and automatic status updates that keep everyone accountable from kickoff to close.

Team: Duck Hunters

Duck Hunters tackle procurement overload. SmartProcure standardizes evaluation across formats, aligns vendor responses to RFP metrics, and produces side-by-side scores—bringing speed, transparency, and trust back to selection.

Team Darin

Team Darin built a shipping agent and spend dashboard for Cal Poly SLO. Enter item details, origin, and destination to compare carrier options; then explore a live dashboard of spending by category, suppliers, and trends—so decisions are faster, cheaper, and data-driven.
