AI SUMMER CAMP 2026
The AI Summer Camp brings together students and campus leaders for an intensive week of building AI solutions to real challenges. Whether you’re a student ready to learn by doing, or a staff member with a problem worth solving — there’s a place for you here.
“Learn AI by Doing. Tackle real campus challenges and build working prototypes in one week.”
Call for Applicants
For Students. Curious about AI? Apply to spend a week at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo building AI solutions to real problems facing campuses across California. You’ll work on a mentored team, learn practical AI skills, and walk away with a portfolio project and a statewide network. No prior AI experience needed — just curiosity and drive. Food and housing are covered.
Call for Challenges
For Faculty & Staff. Have a campus problem that AI could help solve? Submit a real-world challenge for mentored student teams to tackle during the camp. Selected challenges will be developed into working prototypes over five intensive days, with results shared back to your campus as open-source solutions. Ideal submissions include a clear problem, identified stakeholders, and any available data.
