Mini Clint built an AI chatbot for Cal Poly’s Math Department that pulls answers from campus webpages and student records, cutting inbox and phone traffic. Powered by AWS (Chime SDK PSTN, Transcribe, RAG, Polly), it delivers fast, accurate responses so staff can focus on students.

Team: Owl & Lion Access

Owl & Lion Access centers accessibility in tutoring. Students declare how they learn; tutors get those needs surfaced with autogenerated lesson plans. With Amazon Lex plus a knowledge base, the system supports off-hours questions and disability accommodations—finally matching help to the whole student.

Team: Composer AI

Composer AI helps SRJC students explore over 100 majors and 150 certificates by pairing a Holland code quiz with personalized program and career suggestions, turning aimless browsing into actionable plans and lightening counselors’ workloads.

Team: NeuroScript

NeuroScript gives students structure without shortcuts: enter brainstorms, receive a focused thesis plus a step-by-step outline. The result is organized, original writing that reflects the student’s path, not a model’s prose—perfect for classrooms emphasizing authenticity and process.

Oscar AI helps undecided Hartnell College students discover majors faster. The friendly chatbot asks low-pressure questions, maps interests to programs and careers, and reveals degree requirements, timelines, and transfer options—turning static information into a guided path so students commit sooner and graduate on time.

CSU shipping costs shouldn’t drain tuition. Freightly’s centralized platform plugs into FedEx, UPS, and DHL pricing APIs to surface the best rates, predict spend, and consolidate shipments. One dashboard delivers transparent tracking, smarter decisions, and measurable diversity spend, turning logistics chaos into savings for classrooms and clubs.

Team: GPT (Gettin' Pretty Tired)

Getting Pretty Tired fixes manual, mismatched safety training across 23 CSU campuses. Their AI assistant, SergAí, maps course outlines to required trainings, auto-assigns and de-duplicates, tracks expirations, gathers feedback, and offers chatbot guidance—so instructors align risk with compliance and students complete the right courses on time.

ChatCCC’s AI scheduler meets students where they are: type your constraints, get a plan. Built for the CCC system, it reduces planning friction for diverse learners while giving counselors a faster, clearer starting point.

Lost time adds up. Panther Finder uses conversational AI to deliver personalized turn-by-turn help and smarter resource use, directing students to what they need, when they need it. The result: faster navigation, happier students, and less pressure on staff across campus.

Team Welch’s Fruit Snacks helps CSU reach 25% supplier diversity with a vendor management console and AI chatbot. Pull real-time data from the CA DGS database, recommend certified small and DVBE alternatives, and automate tracking and reports—cutting weeks of manual work into minutes.

Confluence Conquerors built CCCApply Assistant, a multilingual chatbot that answers application questions fast. It searches documentation semantically, accepts PDF uploads, and stays synced with CCCApply resources—so students get clearer guidance, staff respond faster, and campuses reduce friction from first click to submit.

Pell Yeah built Scholi, an AI scholarship guide that matches students to the right awards. Using a curated knowledge base and RAG, Scholi asks about GPA, major, units, and more—then surfaces eligible opportunities, streamlining applications and rescuing funds that usually go unclaimed.
